Scene 1 Brad Blows Carlo: Many of you have been following Brad and my work since he joined the crew in 2009 (DVDs #48 Brad Hung and Tall, #54 Brad Feeds Ethan, #57 and #58) as I have mentored and groomed him into an Internet sensation and a headliner here with The Crew. You have seen Brad’s desire to please and perform for me (Carlo) in DVD #64 Scene 2 Massaging Brad’s Prostate, Men on a Mission. And since 2009 Brad and I have been on a rollercoaster ride as he tries to balance the world he came from and the world I introduced him to in 2009 (see The Making of Big Brad blog post, Lessons in Muscle Worship). Many hours on photo shoots, in the gym, socializing and mentoring him, all in an effort to take the potential I saw in Brad and mold him into the best he could be, so that he could achieve greatness here and make a killing from it; and he has. But as in life, certain people just click and as I always say, “Shit happens!” I’ve given all my guys years of good advice and in return they’ve taught me things too, but Brad has developed a certain attachment and deep-rooted trust in me that makes him want to give up total control.
It is what it is! This unique underworld provides an environment that allows shit to happen that otherwise probably wouldn’t happen in everyday life. If you’re a player in this game and you play it right, it can be one of the most rewarding experiences and the strongest bond men will ever experience. I’ve always told Matt, Brad, and others not to hate the players, hate the game.

But simply put, with all the time Brad and I have spent together over the past few years, my preparation to be a top guy, he and I have developed a close friendship. A friendship that has been a rollercoaster at times because not only was I undoubtedly his friend, but I also had to be “The Boss” at times.
