Joel Someone has had a hard time connecting with his new stepson, Max Mabry. Joel’s ultraconservative values have conflicted with those of Max, who seems a bit freer. In an effort to connect and assert her dominance, Joel decides to add the Handholder app to the family phone plan so that the boys can hold each other accountable and not check out unwanted activities on the internet.
